The Top 30 Asian Chart combines Spotify Top 50 Country Charts on every Friday of the week for 8 ASEAN countries Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
* Each song is given an index weightage, #1 with 50 points, #2 with 49 points etc in each country’s charts to generate a total sum. Songs are then ranked with the highest to lowest of their points weightage.
Ranked at #11, #16, #20 and #21, is one of the biggest pop stars to date, Taylor Swift, with the remake of her ‘Fearless’ album. Unprecedented to any remake of catalogue music, the move has proved to be a success especially in Philippines where she dominates almost 50% of the chart.
Ranked at #27, is a newcomer on the chart, K-pop girl group Weeekly with single “After School”. The group debuted less than a year ago and is already making waves in Asia, especially high on ranking in Indonesia.
